The Global Health Alliance (GHA) recently held its 4th Annual Dinner and Fundraising Event, bringing together partners, supporters, and community members to celebrate ongoing efforts to strengthen maternal and child health in Somalia.
This year’s event focused on one central goal: raising funds to build a permanent Training Facility in Puntland, Somalia. The new center will serve as a hub for healthcare education, skills development, and long-term capacity-building for health professionals across the region.
Throughout the evening, attendees reflected on GHA’s growing impact in Somalia and beyond. Over the past year, the organization has continued to expand access to essential healthcare through training programs, delivery of medical equipment, and the development of partnerships that strengthen local systems.
The dinner also served as a moment of gratitude. GHA extends its sincere appreciation to the participating colleges, partners, and the dedicated members of the GHA team whose work on the ground continues to save lives and build a stronger, more resilient healthcare system in Somalia.
As GHA looks ahead, the organization remains committed to its mission of improving health outcomes for mothers and children, expanding access to care, and creating sustainable health education for future generations.
