Global Health Alliance (GHA) Champions recently led a two-day Essential Newborn Care (ENC) Training at Shaafi College. The training focused on equipping the next generation of healthcare workers with practical, life-saving skills to care for newborns.
Participants practiced hands-on skills, including newborn resuscitation, safe delivery support, and immediate postnatal care. These are simple but critical interventions that save lives—especially in communities where newborn deaths are preventable with the right knowledge and tools.
The energy in the classroom was inspiring. Students came ready to learn, practice, and ask questions. GHA Champions guided them through each step, making sure everyone left with confidence in their new skills.
